DRAWN MATCH AT HAAVERA. MATCH AGAINST TE NGUTU. The Hawcra and Tc Xgutu Golf Clubs held a match at Hawcra on Wednesday, each side winning four matches, with one all square. Results were as follow, Hawcra players being mentioned first: — Armitage and Ward lost to M. Meuli and H. Evetts 1 down. Simpson and Sagar beat Penny and Good 1 up. -Spedding and A. Sutton lost to Todd and Linn 2 and I. Blair land Stewart beat Luxton and Graydon 3 and 2. Robb and Gailoway all square with Grecu and R. Robertson. Finlay and Walker lost to O. Robertson and Cotterell 4 and 2. Black and Cullen beat Withers- and J. E. Meuli 4 and 2.
Harrop -and Strange beat Green land Foley 2 up. Morrissey and Ziusli lost to Smith and Fraser 2 down. . WIN FOR TE NGUTU. WOMEN PLAY OPUNAKE. In -a match against Opunake on Wednesday, Te Ngutu women golfers, playing on their own' links, were the winners by six games to two.
