An ancient blood feud between two families of warlike North-Avest Frontier Province tribesmen resulted in the death of nearly 40 persons, including 25 members and servants of one family. A few days ago Khan Zwngi Khan, chief headman of the Utmanzai Wazirs, with his brother and his cousin was alleged to have been murdered by the followers of Khan Habib, a distant cousin. The relatives of the dead men then called all the lighting men of their family and attacked the miniature fortress of Khan Habib. After 30 hours of bitter fighting they forced an entrance.
