At the age of 7 . years the death has occurred at her late residence, Skeet Road, Auroa, of Mrs Mary Chambers Duff, relict of the late Mr William Duff. The funeral takes place at the Manaia cemetery to-morrow. The death has occurred of the Rev. Henry Williams, aged 94, formerly vicar at St. Albania and Prebbletou, states a Press Association message from Christchurch. For some years he was editor of the-New Zealand Church News and he published many theological works.

Following a serious illness, the death occurred at Lyall Bay, Wellington, on Saturday of Mr William Alexander Muir, a former resident of Hawera, where he was in business as a motor engineer, and lately of Suva. He is survived by his widow and two sons, Douglas and lan Muir. The late Mr Muir, who saw service in the Great War, was employed for many years by the Farmers’ Co-op. Society and by tlio Hawera firm of O’Callaghan Motors. He subsequently took over premises in Regent Street and was in business on his own account until 18 months or two years'ago, when he accepted an executive position with a Suva firm of motor traders and engineers. Some few weeks ago' lie was granted three months’ leave of absence on account of ill-health and returned to the Dominion. He underwent an X-ray examination and a major operation, and had been removed to Lyall Bay where he had remained until the time of his death. Mrs Muir and the two children, on receipt of advice of Mr Muir’s serious condition, left Suva and reached Wellington only a few days ago. The funeral took place at Ivarori cemeter3 r to-day.
