Arrival of Mr. Paul P. Harris at Wellington INFLUENCE OF MOVEMENT INTERNATIONAL GOODWILL

(By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON 1 , To-day. An arrival by the Makura. was Mr Paul P. Harris, founder of Rotary. In an interview he said that if there was any particular genius in Rotary it was the genius of organisation father than- the genius that express-, ed itself in philosophy alone. The movement in. New Zealand had been fortunate in enlisting the interest of a. type of men who would themselves almost ensure its success. That- applied more or less generaly to the countries where Blotary had become established. He had not the least doubt that Rotary was playing an important part in the promotion of international goodwill and understanding. It was a live force in eighty countries, and there were 150,000 influential men in the movement, imbued with the idea of international amity. Many of them were actively at work jn that cause. V Mr and Mrs Harris leave for the south to-night. They will visit Christchurcli and Dunedin and return later to the North Island. They leave New Zealand on May 4 for the United States.
