FEE PAID BY AMATEURS REDUCTION NOT INTENDED (By Telegraph —Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 28. Mr A. S. Richards (Lab., Roskill) asked the Postmaster-General in the House of Representatives to-day if he would reduce amateur transmitters’ fees to the same .as radio listeners, 255. The Hon. Adam Hamilton said amateur transmitters required more supervision than ordinary receiving sets and it was not considered the fee of 30s was excessive.
