A catalogue of 10,255 bales was offered at the Sydney wool sales to-day and 9763 were sold. A furtner 1033 bales were sold privately. Competition was very keen and the market for all Merino descriptions was firm, while comebacks showing style were 5 per cent, higher. Greasy Merino sold at up to 173 d.
