PROSPECTS FOE 1935 SEASON. M EMBER S ENTHUSIASTIC. Appreciation of the able manner in which lie had carried out his duties last year was expressed by the annual meeting of the Hawera Savage Club to Eangitira Claude Harrison last night. He was unanimously re-elected to the position for the ensuing year. In moving the adoption cs: the annual report and balance-sheet (already published), Eangitira Harrison paid a tribute to the past services do the club of Savage W. A .Spragg, who had been Eangitira for three years prior to 1934. A motion placing his services oh record was carried with acclamation. A tribute was also paid to the work of the secretary, Savage Alex "Wilson, a motion expressing appreciation in this direction being accorded an enthusiastic reception. The meeting was one of the best attended for several years, arid prospects' for the coining season appear to be particularly bright. Members generally expressed enthusiasm that the revival of “Savagery’’ last year would be even more marked this year. It was remarked that for the first time in several years the club ended the year with a credit balance despite the fact that the subscription had hem reduced and a larger number of korttos held during the year. A recommendation was made to the council that the koreros be held on a
