LONDON, March 2/. The “Daily Mail’s’’ Lille correspondent says that Germany continues to make heavy purchases of woollen and cotton goods in tho industrial areas of Northern France.
She is also buying raw materials at almost any price. She bought 5000 tons of wool in the past three days at far above the normal price, .one afternoon paying od per lb above the morning offer.
