Brook, who is attempting to lower the Australia-England record, ai*rived at Dumdum at 6.30 o’clock this morning and later left for Karachi via Jodhpur. His non-appearance at Calcutta last evening worried officials. He said he spent the night in a paddy field in the Sunderbans district and came on at dawn.
