The Rev. Thomas Burns Bannerman has died at the age of 69, reports the Press Association, from Invercargill. He was the son of the Rev. William Bannerman, who arrived in Otago in February. 1854. Mr T. B. Bannerman was therefore intimately connected with early Otago and Southland. For a number of years he supplied vacant charges In Southland. He ivas a -well-known, figure in nearly every Presbyterian pulpit. Latterly he started services at Georgetown and Tisbury, and until his death he carried on work there >n the Sunday school and church.
