BOROUGH SAFE “BLOWN.” NEW LYNN OFFICES FORCED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, To-day. Burglars entered tho offices of the New Lynn Borough Council last night and forced three doors leading to a fireproof room wherein stood the council's safe. They then blew the door off the safe with gelignite and' stole £B7, mostly in £5 notes. The money hqd been paid in yesterday by ratepayers.
