MOST SUCCESSFUL FIXTURE CUP TO CHIEF MARIONETTE RULANUT’S OPEN) SPRINT. With weather conditions perfect, and the racing of a high standard, an almost record attendance yesterday enjoyed one of the most successful meetings held by the Rangitikei Racing Club in recent years. Undoubtedly one of the most popular country clubs in tho North Island, the Bulls racecourse drew many outside patrons at their fixture yesterday, including a large number of racegoers from Taranaki.

The totalisator handled £6554 10s, which compared more than favourably with last year’s figures of £4365 10s, an increase of £2189. The gate receipts showed an increase of £7O.

After the recent rainfall in the district the Bulls track was in splendid order and its- very green sole of grass presented an unusual appearance for tju's time of the year. Tho concluding results were:
