Ki-schel, a prominent member of a large platoglass manufacturing firm in Minneapolis, United States oNAmcrica, who is accompanied by his wife on the voyage. Mr. Kisohel’s gesture of farewell after his conversation with a Dominion reporter was to bring from his overcoat pocket a handful of glass elephants. “Tak*» one,” he invited. “They are supposed to be lucky.” Mr. Kischel holds the opinion that there are great opportunities in the Dominion. “If I were a young man I would make a stab at New Zealand,” lie said. “I have been all around the world, and I consider there are greater opportunities for development in New Zealand than anywhere else. There are far greater opportunities here than in America, Canada, or England for a young man with original ideas.”
