The Franklin-Bay of Islands combined meeting concluded to-day in beautiful weather. There was a large attendance. Results: — HOKIANGA HURDLES. Of £IOO. 'One mile and five furlongs. 4-3 St. Ames, 9.7 1 1- Record Plight, 10.2 2 2- Ruling King, 9.8 3 Also started: Benighted 9.4, Slump 9.0. Won by two lengths; six lengths. Time, 3.1 4^5.

Time, 2.10 4-5. OWNERS DISQUALIFIED S. J. Wood aond S. Findlay, joint owners of On Parade, who were called on to show cause why they should not be dealt with under the rules of racing were disqualified for six months as the result of an enquiry on Saturday. On Parade is alleged to have not run on his merits.
