COMPETITION PLAV AT HAWERA CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS NO FIRST ROUND SURPRISES. Competition play between tennis clubs in South Taranaki having been completed, the Hawera club being the winner, members of the clubs in this area are devoting their time to the decision of the club championships. The competitions at the Hawera Club are fairly well advanced in some sections. but in others there has been delay. Members are advised that the first round of the championships must be completed on or before Wednesday next, otherwise the matches Will be forfeited.
