A fire, fortunately suppressed early, broke out last night in the Salvation Army children’s home at Anderson s Bay. The five originated in a playroom. The children were quickly marshalled out and they and the officials had removed most of the accessible furniture when the brigade arrived. The only damage was to the ceiling and rafters.
