FOREIGN BUTTER IN AMERICA. (United Pres* Association— By Electric Telegraph Oopy right.) NEW YORK. Feb. 21. Import circles declare that, with the continued advance in the domestic price of butter, the volume of foreign shipments, notably New Zealand, is increasing. Thirteen thousand cases of New Zealand butter arrived via London yesterday. It is understood that between 13,000 and 160,000 cases, aggregating over 9,000,000 pounds, has been booked for shipment to America for arrival prior to the end cf March. Commission merchants in closest touch with the butter siutation, informally issued a warning that, whereas market opportunities were apparently good at the present time, exporters must guard against over-shipment and. with the rapid advent of the new domestic production season, there was a danger of a serious glut in the market.
