CROSSING SMASH VICTIM. <lb Te.egraph— Pres* Association.! AUCKLAND, To-day. Ernest Cleave, aged 47, who was injured in a level crossing smash at Pukekohe last Friday, died in hospital to-day. For 18 years he had been editor of the Sporting and Dramatic Review. He leaves a wife and one child.
