SCHOOL PICNIC AT ELTHAM. From Chir Own Correspondent. The annual school picnic was* held at Taumata Park on Wednesday. Prior to visiting the park, the children spent half an hour swimming at the Eltham baths. Ice-creams, sweets and fruit were distributed 'and naturally very heartily enjoyed. The picnic was organised and controlled by the teacher (Mr. E. G. Smith) and the committee, Messrs L. M. Prankerd (chairman), J. Kirk, J. Cocker ancl H. Belcher.
