DEMONSTRATION FARMING
WAIMATE WEST AREA. INCREASE IN SUBSIDY. An increase in the subsidy allotted by the Department of Agriculture will be sought by the committee controlling the Waimate West Experimental Farm, as the result of a decision made at a meeting yesterday. The subsidy is being sought because of certain work the committeo has in view. Those present were Messrs C. J. Haynes (chairman), 11. Buxton. J. Leslie, S. H. Le Fleming. K. J. Betts and the farm manager (Mr A. G. Paterson). The monthly report of the farm manager was adopted.
