In a Speech from the Throne at the opening of Parliament, members are asked to consider the policies designed to consolidate and expand Empire trade agreements and to increase world trade generally. The jxilicv -of the Government should be to work towards an arms reduction and stabilised economic relations, also unemployment and health insuranoe, improved old age pensions, minimum wage and a. maximum working week.
