ISSUED FALSE CHEQUES
YOUTH FOR SENTENCE FORGED EMPLOYER’S NAME (By Telegraph—Press Association.! GISBORNE, To-day. Arrested at Auckland on an 18months’ old warrant, a youth of 19, William George Sutton, pleaded guilty to two charges of making false documents. He was committed for sentence. Accused was employed by a farmer and extracted three cheques from liis employers’ cheque book with which, after forging his employer’s name, he obtained goods and cash valued at £ls-.
