Salvationist’s Farewell The Salvation Army Hall, Eltham, was well filled last evening, when the departing officers of the local Salvation Army Corps were farewelled. A large number of the public were present when Captain Heath, of the Eitliam Farewell speeches were delivered by of the local corps and the Mayor, Mr Harold Jenkins presided and in a short address regretted the departure of the guests. Farewell peechcs were elibered by a numlier of the prominent members of the loeal corps. The Mayor, Mr Bridger, Rev. J. A. Ryburn, Rev. H. Spencer and Adjutant Erickson-. Miss L. Thomas on behalf of the young, sspoke of wonderful w r ork done by Miss Styles and wished her every success. Miss Styles was presented with a travelling bag.
Various musical items were given during the evening. Vocal solo, Lieut. Heath; duet, Misses A. and J. Penhall; quartette, Messrs F. Lynch, 11. Jenkins, A. Lowers and Adjutant Parkinson. The happy evening was brought to a close by the serving of supper.
