Sussex Handicap at Royal Christchurch Meeting

MATCH EVENT CANCELLED PROGRAMME REARRANGED (By Telegraph—Press Association., CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. The match race between Worthy Queen and Nell Volo which was to be run at the Royal meeting 'on January 19 will not now take place as Worthy Queen is unable to race. The programme now comprises seven races and a speed trial by Indianopolis over the mile. The order of events has been changed slightly and the Sussex Handicap becomes the fifth race. It is for unhoppied trotters over a mile and a half, which means that the start is from in front of the main grandstand. It is understood the Duke of Gloucester will start this race.
