TRIAL BY LONGBURN WORKS. ARRIVAL IN GOOD CONDITION. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., To-day. Advice has been received that the first experimental shipment of 200 quarters of chilled, beef from the Longbum works arrived in London on December 17 and is considered there to he a complete success, the condition of the shipment being good and quality satisfactory. Arrangements are "being made for another shipment of 500 quarters at- the end of the present month.
