Three children were drowned to-day at Cowes, Phillip Island. The mother of the children', Mrs Ena McKenzie, aged 40. was rescued. A young man, Bryant West, saw the woman struggling in the water near the end of the pier and dived in and brought lier ashore. Later the . hody of Ronald McKenzie, aged five, was recovered, but the bodies of Ena, aged four, and Douglas, ngpd eight months, were washed out to sea.
