MATCH AGAINST WAVERLEY. HOME SIDE! LOSES ONE DOWN In a mid-week "friendly” game between the Hawera and Waverley ladies’ golf clubs, Hawera lost one down. Results were as follow, the names of the Hawera players being mentioned first: Mr.s McAnerin lost to Miss D. Lupton; Mr,s Dickie and Miss Wills lost to Miss Train and Mrs Hurley; Mrs Duncan and Mrs Hunt lost to Miss Matlieson ad Mrs Casey; Mrs Corey and Mrs Rudge halved with Misses Palmer and Pepper ; Miss Bright and Mrs Fearon won from Miss Johnson and Mrs Grey; Mrs Anderson and Mrs Hawthorne won from Mrs G. Lupton and Miss Aitkin •;Misses Tonics and McLean won from Miss Graham and Miss Parsons ; Miss H. Good and Mrs Giblin lost to Mrs Dickie and Miss Lupton.
