In the recent Town Board election at Manaia the nominations did not exceed the number of seats vacant and the returning officer (Mr J. Itodie) declared the following commissioners elected: Messrs. A. J. Christie, G. It. Watts, Li. A. Walters, J. A. G. Cosgrove, L. C. Harrison, H. Mead and W. H. Robinson. Messrs. Cosgrove and Robinson are two new members of the board who fill the vacancies caused by the retirement of Messrs. A. H. Yarrow and N. D. Jones who, in the past, have given excellent service as commissioners.
