The legal committee of the Unit«(t Church of Canada, declaring that the constitution contemplated only a male ministry, recommended that a proposal of the Saskatchewan Assembly to ordain Miss Lydia Degrtfchy be not entertained. She has been a pastoi for twelve years, but cannot marry or baptise.
