GREENLAND ICE-CAP JOURNEY. DELAY BY HEAVY STORMS. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) LONDON. May 7. Heavy storms delayed Lieutenant Mai tin .Lindsay’s f British Arctic exjiedition, which is to attempt a sledge lourney of 800 miles across the Greenland ire-cup, states a message from the Gertrud Rask. The Gertrud Rask is a steamer of 400 tons conveying a party to the west coast of Greenland. She struck pack ice 80 miles south of Bgedsminde, where she should have arrived six days ago. High winds blew her 50 off her course.
