The “Star” understands that the decision to cancel Prince George’s arrangements for the tour of Australia and New Zealand was due to the far* that lie is suffering from a slight touch of his old enemy, w;eak digestion, which was the real cause of his retirement from the Navy. It is hoped that tlie Prince will overcome his trouble, and, therefore, it is felt that a further trip, involving frequiv.it changes of diet, would be inadvisable. Major R. T Stanyforth, the Duke of Gloucester’s. comptroller, and Captain Howard Kerr, his equerry, will accompany the Duke on the tour be is making in place of Prince George. A staff of four will also accompany the Duke.
