Archibald Cameron, aged 28, whose trouble was ascribed to drink, to-day pleaded guilty to six charges of obtaining or attempting to obtain money and goods by false pretences at Danne■virke, Palmerston North and AVaipukurau. He was sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment by the magistrate, Mr. J. Miller.
