MALICIOUS FALSE ALARM

RAWER A BRIGADE SUMMONED. CALL FROM STREET BOX. At one o’clock this morning the Hawera Volunteer Fire Brigade responded to a call registered at the station in High Street from a street alarm box located at the corner of Grey and Princes Streets. There was a full muster of brigaclesnien and the glass panel of the box was found broken but no sign of fire or anyone in the vicinitv. In recent years Haver a. has n singularly free from maliciprs false alarms and the call last evening is receiving the closest investigation.
