AIATCH PLAYED AT STDATFORD. DEFEAT OF KAPONGA TEAM. Four rinks from the Kaponga Bowling Club on Saturday paid a visit to the Avon green on Saturday and in a friendly match were beaten on the aggregate of 93 points to 91. Results were as follow, the names "of the Avon piasters being mentioned first: Thompson, Clemow, AlcLean, North 17 lost to Pasooe, A. Y. Tait, Cook, Gradner 20.
Jenkin, Rudkin, Bulman, Ansley 32 beat Palmer, Guy, A. E. Anderson, Fallows 20.
Pennington, Moss, Von Star mer, Betts 25 lost to Kehel.y, A. AY. Anderson, Williams, Cran 26. Skuse, Hargreaves, Bound.v, McDonald 19 lost to O’Neill, Espiner, V. Tait, Tyack 25.
GIBSON BANNER. WAVERLEY DEFEATS PATEA. In a challenge match for the Gibson Banner on Saturday the holders (Waver ley) defeated the challengers (Patea) by 21 points to 17. The rinks were: S. Aiken, Hodgetts, Blackie. R. P. Palmer (Waverley) 21 v. Martin, Richards, J. Bourke, P. Bourke (Patea) 17.
