LONDON, Dec. 1. The treatment of political prisoners in Germany is becoming, worse, says the ex-editor of a Communist paper. He was arrested on February 28 and remained in a concentration camp at Sommenburg until October and now -s in refuge in Britain under the assumed name of Lentz. He visited die House of Commons accompanied by Lord Marley. He declared that an increase in antiHitler propaganda was immediately reflected in heavier punishments in concentration camps. He had seen people lying on the ground with flesh torn ofE their arms and backs. There were special torture cells at Sommenburg where prisoners spent a number oi days- after- arrival. Many died after beatings and the bodies were hung up to suggest suicide. Prisoners arriving from another camp were covered with vermin. They were compelled to stand naked for five hours.
