The first meeting of the “League of German citizens of lion-Aryan descent ’ protested against tlieir deprivation of fundamental rights of citizenship. Dr. Guenther Katz asked: “Was not Richthofen a German?”, He also mentioned numerous famous generals and others who were non-Aryans.
ARRIVALS AT SHANGHAI. HELP OF AUTHORITIES. Received 2.50 p.m. to-day. SHANGHAI, Nov. 6. The first, effect, of the anti-Aryan policy of the Hitler Government was experienced at Shanghai to-day with the arrival of the first batch of several hundred German Jews who were forced to leave Germany following persecution. Twenty-six scientists, doctors and other highly skilled professional Germans arrived with their families for the purpose of making their home in China. Their advent is regarded with considerable satisfaction by° the Chinese authorities who are prepared to avail themselves of thenservices and are placing every facility at their disposal.
