FREE OF CRIMINAL CASES. CONGRATULATIONS OF JUDGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GISBORNE, Nov. 7. Mr Justice Ostler to-day congratulated the district at the opening oi the Supreme Court on the fact that for the second .successive session a clean sheet could be shown -so far as criminal cases for trial were concerned, though at the last minute one prisoner had 'been sent from ‘Whalvafano for sentence.
