DOWNPOUR’ AT TIMAR u. (By TeiegrapTJ —rt rosa ABW<o,iatinn.j TIMARU. Nov. 6. Heavy rainfall was' experienced over the week end. From mid afternoon on Saturday till nine o’clock this morning the total fall was 3.54 inches. The fall for 24 hours till nine this morning was 3.09 inches, the .second heaviest fall in 1 a day isinee 1920 when the record was 3.1.2 inches.
