' (By Tplogrnp-n—Tress Assncinlirm.) INVERCARGILL, Nov. 4. Pleading guilty to being intoxicated while in charge of a lorry, Edmund Sheehan was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment. Sheehan’s explanation was that lie had been working late, and _ after supper at a pie-cart was on hie way home. The magistrate issued a warning that in future cases he would consider making the minimum penalty £3O.
