NEW SOUTH WALES POLL. FIRST FIFTEEN CHOSEN. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegrapn Copyright.) SYDNEY, Nov. 5. The counting of preferences for the first fifteen members of the New South Wales Legislative /Council was con- - eluded last night, the successful candidates in order of election being Messrs Murray, Peden, Farrar, Alam, Cambridge', Hawkins, Horne, Manning, Martin, Moulder, Tout, Higgins, Concannon, King and Trautwein. All are sitting members except Mr. Trautwein, who beat Mr. McGrath for the last place. Mr. Alam, on no party ticket, but just denominated Labour, sprang a surprise by gaining fourth place. Messrs Martin, Concannon. and King are State Labour and Mr. Higgins is Federal Labour. Mr. Troutwein is independent and the others are Government supporters.
