MORTGAGE ADJUSTMENT
COMMISSION SUSPENDS WORK. CONCERN IN MANAWATU. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Nov. 4. The Manawatu Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union discussed at length a reported breach between the Wellington Mortgage Adjustment Commission, which has _ suspended business, and the authorities on the administration of mortgage relief.. A serious view was taken of the difficultv. Members stressed the necessity' for the breach being rapidly healed, and it was unanimously resolved to telegraph to the Minister of Justice asking him to expedite an amicable settlement and suggesting that the findings of the commission should be adhered to by the courts as closely as possible. Mr W. J. Poison, M.P., will also be asked to use his influence in this direction on behalf of the union.
