’PLANE CAUGHT IN FOG
TOPS TORN OFF TREES. MACHINE CRASHES IN FOREST. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 2.15 p.m. to-day. PARIS, Oct. 31. A French aeroplane, caught in a fog en route from Switzerland to Le Bourget, tore the tope off trees over a forest five hundred yards before crashing into the hillside. A passenger and mechanic were killed and the pilot and another passenger were seriously injured.
