The Australian Rugby League team defeated Widnes by 31 points to nil, after leading 13 points to nil at halftime. The weather was so cold that n'eariy all the "Widnes backs wore mittens. BRADFORD DEFEATED. SECOND SPELT. RECOVERY. LONDON, Oct. 30. The Australian League team defeated Bradford Northern by 10 points to 7; after Bradford had been in the lead by 7 to 2 points at half-time.
