Mr. Beaumont Smith, of the firm of J. C. Williamson, Ltd., who was the producer of the early silent film “Hayseeds,” has been engaged l in Sydney in making a talkie version of this sucetwsful farce. It is reported that the plot has been modernised to permit the introduction of a beauty chorus and other adiuncts of the successful musical sound film.
