In. accordance with the arrangement made at the adjournment of the VV oriel Economic Conference that there should be consultations. Hr. Cblijn, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, visited No. 10 Downing Street yesterday afternoon and was in conversation with Mr Riamsa.y MacDonald for two hours on the general economic situation. An early resumption of the conference is unlikely, but newspapers suggest the possibility that .some of the sub-committees of the economic commission of the conference may .be convened and continue their work.
