FALL OF EXPENDITURE BRITISH TREASURY RETURNS (British Official Wireless.) .RiUGBY, Sept. 26. The latest Treasury returns show the ordinary revenue for the current financial year up to September 23 amounted to £268.113,307. At the correspondin a- date last year the amount stood at" £261,860,885. , x Ordinarv exepnditure to date for the current vca.r totalled £346,00/ ,032, which' is 'about £32,000,000 less than the total of ordinary expenditure at the corresponding date last year.
