WELLINGTON, Sept, 21, The Federal Steam Navigation Company Limited announces that it has. contracted with Messrs VVorkmanClark and Company, shipbuilders Belfast for two motor-ships. Their length will be 490 feet between perpendiculars and the beam 68 feet, the gross tonnage about 11,000 tons. There will bo refrigerated space ot 460.000 cubic feet iincl the speed will he about 16 hnots. The propelling machinery will be Sultzer engines built by Messrs Workman Clark and Company. Delivery of the ships is to be given in the autumn of 1934.
