Unprecedented in local administration, three resignations of Hamilton Borough Councillors have been received in the past two days. Messrs. C. J, W. Barton and F. H. dapham have resigned through ill-health and Mr. S'. V. Tyler through pressure of private business. A by-election will be held on October 18.
