OLEARIANCE AT WELLINGTON. 1 The New Zealand Loan and; Mercantile Agency Company Ltd., Hawera, reports that at the sixth furred, skin sale of the season at Wellington on September 15 there was a _ full bench of buyers and keen competition ruled. Consignments from Hawera were sold as trappers’ lots and sales were recorded of 136 at Bs, 70 at 7s 4d, 1-3 at 7s Id, and 54 at ss. Although this was the final opossum sale listed for this season, consignments could still be handled at this centre and sold in conjunction with the rabbit skin sales. These sales were held fortnightly and buyers who attended were also buyers of opossum skins.
