DEVELOPMENTS PENDING. NAVY AND AIR FORGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Sept, 24. A passenger by the Monterey from Sydney was Major M. O. Langslow, of the Air Service Department, Melbourne, who is on holiday. He said extensive developments in defence activities were pending. The Imperial Navy was sending out new vessels and it was intended to re-equip the Air Force with the latest high-powered machines. Reorganisation of the munitions department was also to be undertaken. The programme was not by any means settled, but a big change was contemplated.
